Medusa's multichrome shift is highly base-dependent. Below is a tested matrix to help you choose your base and get the most from the pigment.

Muted gold → smoky green → deep teal — softer, more editorial shift
Grey shadow pressed lightly before applying Medusa
Black
Deepened teal-green duochrome; gold tones recede — dramatic, night-look result
Black pencil liner or black shadow packed on lid
Skin tone / No base
Subtle shift visible; pigment reads closest to its true tone in the pan
Eye primer only — best for a natural wash of colour
Coloured base (e.g. purple, rust)
Shift blends with the base hue — creates custom two-tone effects
Pack base shade tightly first; add Medusa on top while base is still slightly tacky
Application Steps
Prime — apply an eye primer to the lid and blend out. Allow to set for 30 seconds.
Set your base — using a flat shader brush, pack your chosen base colour onto the lid. Do not blend out fully; keep it concentrated where you want the multichrome effect.
Apply Medusa — with a clean flat shader or finger, press Medusa directly over the base. Use a dabbing motion rather than sweeping to preserve the colour shift.
Build intensity — add a second pressed layer for deeper pigment. Avoid buffing, which disperses the particles and reduces the shift.
Clean up edges — use a clean blending brush or concealer to sharpen the lid line. Multichrome particles fall easily, so tap off any excess before blending.
Set (optional) — a light mist of setting spray over the closed eye helps lock the pigment in place.
Tip: for the sharpest shift, view the finished look under natural or directional light and move your gaze — that is when Medusa performs best.

This is BY FAR my favorite eye shadow! It brings a lot of compliments and attention. This is my second time getting this products. It lasted for a good long while (about a year). I still have some of the last one but wanted to get more while I could.

It was quite expensive for the amount of product but it is absolutely stunning !

It's absolutely gorgeous.
The colours are so vibrant and glittery and it glides on the skin like cream but it's not a cream.
The pigment is just "chef's kiss".
Absolutely stunning and worth every penny
5 stars for beautiful product but unfortunately I had a bad reaction to it after it being on my eyes for a few hours. Will still use it though just not on my eyes. -5 stars for delivery and customer service unfortunately. As much as I love Kaima Cosmetics and I have ordered products before, this order was a complete disaster. I ordered on the 21st Feb and it said all orders of this particular product would be dispatched on the 1st which was great as I wanted it for St. Patrick’s Day 17th March, multiple unanswered emails and one answered one with no exact information. Eventually got my order on the 28th March , too late for what I wanted it for but still got it. Also between delivery cost and customs payment to Republic of Ireland this single eyeshadow cost me €44:81 , which would have been worth it if i got it on time but ya, I probably unfortunately won’t be ordering from here again.
